Radiant Living: Finding Your Inner Light
Have you ever met someone who seemed to glow from within? There's an undeniable radiance in their presence, a calmness in their smile and joy in their existence. The Bible describes this state of being as radiant: "Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame." (Psalm 34:6).
This isn't some superficial glow. True radiance isn't about external appearances but the inner light that shines out when you have a deep and meaningful connection to the highest power.
So, How Do We Seek God and Cultivate Radiance?
The prophet Micah gives us a clear path: "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8)
Here's how we can translate Micah's words into ways we can “look to” God:
Act Justly: Stand up for righteousness, treat others with fairness, speak truth to power, and fight for equality.
Love Mercy: Practice kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. Be a beacon of hope for those in need.
Walk Humbly with Your God: Acknowledge the greatness of God and seek His guidance and wisdom.
At Ravayah, we believe that living out the wisdom of Micah 6:8 is a crucial step toward radiant living.
